Instructions for use

Thank you for purchasing a BIG HAIR net.

Directions for use/recommended use

1.) The Net is a deshedding tool. Use the tool to blow out the trunk, chest and back end of the dog. Pointing your velocity dryer air stream down at the legs and feet of the dog will force some hair out of the underside of the net.

2.) Only use on dogs that are comfortable with velocity drying. Do not use on dogs that struggle for drying or paw at the dryer.

3.) Clip your dog up to the grooming arm using your grooming loop.

4.) Place the net with the face hole facing forward over the table and over the grooming arm. The arm creates a structure for net.

5.) Gently pull your dogs head through the head hole while clipped to grooming arm. Pull the toggle to secure comfortably around the dog neck. Do not over tighten.

6.) Pull the toggle at the bottom of the net under the table. The tighter the better.

7.) Tuck the string for the bottom of net securely into the elastic band at the bottom of the net.

8.) Blow out as usual. Once dog is deshedded take net off and sweep off piles of hair. Finish drying dogs up tucks, legs, neck and other damp areas.

9.) After use shake net out.  Hand wash and tumble on low or hang to dry.  A garment bag is handy for washing.

10.) Use and use again.

11.) NEVER leave net on dog unattended. NEVER leave a dog on a grooming table unattended. Never force a struggling dog through a groom. This is not a toy. NEVER leave unit with a child. Cords could cause risk of strangulation. Do Not use near open flame.

After your dog has been deshedded inside The Big Hair Net remove net  and collect the fur. Discard fur and shake out the net. If you feel as though the net needs to be washed you can machine wash and tumble on low or air dry. Your net will last much longer if you handwash with a laundry detergent and hang to dry. A garment bag is beneficial if you machine wash.

Frequently Asked Questions

How big or small  of a table can the Big Hair Net fit?

The Big Hair Net was designed to fit a standard 50 inch dog grooming table. The Net does have Some give but only by a few inches.
The Smaller the table the more hair MAY fall through the bottom.In fact The table the Big Hair Net was designed with was 42 inches. You can cynch the Big Hair Net under table toggle to keep the hair/fur enclosed.We wouldn't recommend using the BIG Hair Net on anything smaller then 40 inches.

Will the Big Hair Net work with an H bar?

Yes! The Big Hair Net is compatible with an H bar. However the max height for the H Bar and size of the table will be a factor. You may have to lower the bar to fit the Big Hair Net up and over. The MAX Height on the largest size compatible table would be 50 inches with the bar up to 36 inches tall. (about the height for a Saint Bernard)

Can the Big Hair Net go in the washing machine?

Yes! However a garment bag is a nicer way to care for your Big Hair Net in the machine and dryer.

What if the dog poops inside?

You can see right through the Big Hair Net so stop what you're doing and remove/clean up the mess.

How can you tell if the dog is dry?

Please remember this tool is a deshedding tool not a drying tool. However you would be able to get the majority of the dog dry while using the Big Hair Net. Do not dry the legs or feet while using the Big Hair Net. Drying the legs or dogs feet inside the Big Hair Net may force loosened up fur out of the bottom of the Big Hair Net.
You can also see through the Big Hair Net and can feel the dogs coat by reaching under the Net or touching the dog through the Big Hair Net.

Why can I not return a used Big Hair Net?

The Big Hair Net is a sanitary item. While it can be washed and rewashed it's not fit for resale once used. We focus on quality, if there is something defective with your Big Hair Net please make us aware.
